Google Android Catching up to Apple’s iOS Popularity Ratings Among Developers

Appcelerator recently conducted a survey with developers that revealed a few interesting things as it relates to mobile apps development platforms. The majority of the developers still choose Apple’s iOS platform, but Google’s Android platform has made a significant run to catch up to iOS as the preferred development platform.

The Appcelerator Mobile developer survey tried to cover all the mobile operating systems including Apple (iOS), Google (Android), Palm/HP (Web OS), Microsoft (Phone 7), Nokia (Symbian), and RIM (BlackBerry).
